Don't forget to set up your peripherals in Pro Tools! Read the document "Installation and Setup" to see how this is done. You may lose control of the transport during playback and will need to force quit if you fail to setup the peripherals for Wave Rider control.
Set the silence level higher if you find background noise or breaths are getting boosted as well.
Set the silence level higher and put the behaviour slider towards the lazy side if you find the starts of phrases are getting boosted unnaturally.
For real time operation, set your H/W buffer to 1024 samples (in Settings-->Playback Engine)
On HD systems, try not to insert a TDM plugin before any RTAS plugin. This introduces delay. If you do so, please activate delay compensation.
Use "latch mode" on tracks that are Wave Rider controlled.
